About
Miambiance accepts submissions of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, photography, illustration, spoken word poetry, and music from Miami Dade College students who are currently enrolled in any course at the Kendall Campus. The decision about works selected for publication is made by a panel of students from each category.
Miambiance’s mission is to support the creative talents of MDC Kendall Campus students by providing a learning environment in which student writers can polish their work for publication. In addition, students learn editing, designing, illustrating, preparing art for publication, and other aspects of publishing a literary magazine. Miambiance also sponsors writing and art contests, and all Miami Dade College students are invited to enter.
