About

The theme for the 2026-27 Campus Learning Community is "Climate Resilience & Sea Level Rise." On average, the Miami area experiences about one inch of sea level rise every three years, while just 12 inches of additional rise would be considered catastrophic. Throughout the academic year, there will be opportunities to engage in climate resilience education and action, culminating in a week-long, collegewide symposium, November 16-20, featuring guest speakers, presentations, hands-on activities, service opportunities, and more. Contact your campus Changemaking Office for more information or to get involved!
