Miami Dade College proudly awards the President's Service Leadership Award (PSLA) to recognize and honor the commitment of MDC students, faculty, and staff dedicated to serving and giving back to their communities. This prestigious honor is bestowed by MDC President Madeline Pumariega.

Group awards are determined by the amount of service hours completed in a 12-month period:

  • Bronze (200+ hours)
  • Silver (500+ hours)
  • Gold (1,000+ hours)

Organizations earning this award will receive a customized certificate and a congratulatory letter from MDC President Pumariega. Organization representatives will also be invited to their campus' annual changemaking recognition event.
